The furry champion of modern Easter takes the spotlight in Germany.
German electronics retailer Media Markt created a broadcasted event last year during Easter. Customers had the opportunity to submit their receipts to a rabbit race, where the goal was to predict the winning bunny and win a 50% money return on their purchase.
Media Markt broadcasted the event live online and witnessed no less than 21 million people tuning in for the action.
By doing this simple but fun marketing campaign, Media Markt saw an 8,6 million euro increase in sales compared to last Easter.
