Campaign goal

Support two ECCO stores in Copenhagen, in Lyngby and Østerbro, by creating awareness, reaching a new audience and generating traffic to the store.

Campaign details

ECCO collaborated with Brandheroes to support two ECCO stores in Copenhagen. They wished to create demand for a new sneaker and children’s boots, making this an example of a hyper-local campaign, where a few local brandheroes supported a local store to create awareness, demand and thereby traffic to the store.

Six female, local brandheroes engaged with the Frederiksberg store to showcases a new sneaker. Four female, local brandheroes were hooked up with the Østerbro store to post about a biker boot. And three mothers were gifted with boots for their daughters. Each brandhero hashtagged the local store to create authentic content, trustworthy local reach and an inspirational voice around the specific store.

A fun fact is that the most popular size amongst the female brandheroes in Copenhagen were size 40!

The 13 brandheroes were hyper-local micro-influencers with between 550 and 8.500 followers, and a combined following of 32.902 people. They posted in total 27 beautiful images, which had 68.944 impressions and 2.970 likes and comments. This amounted to an average engagement rate of 5%, where the best engagement rate for one post was 13,3%.

All in all, this an impactful and cost-effective way of supporting local stores.
